And the winners are...

The weather smiled on Framlingham and the crowds came out. sausages sizzled, music played and there was entertainment to be found all over town. Thank you to all our producers, venues, traders, entertainers, sponsors, volunteers, partners and you, our visitors, for making 2017 the biggest and best Framlingham Sausage Festival yet.
The standard was high and the flavours all delicious, but there had to be winners, as judged by you.

In Best Venue:
Winner - The Railway Inn
Runner-up - Hall Farm

In Best Pork Free
Winner - Friday Street
Runner-up - Jabulela

In Best Gluten Free
Winner - Hall Farm
Runner-up Joint Jabulela and Pepperells

In Best World Flavour (all sausages were entered into this category as well as their individual categories)
Winner - Suffolk Black Pigs
Runner-up - Meat Masons

Come to the Awards

All the winners will be announced at the awards evening inside Framlingham Castle 5.30pm - 7pm on Sunday 8th October. Come and celebrate with everyone who has been a part of the day and see if your favourite won. FREE entry (you may even get a go on the famous slide in the castle!)

Parking at the Sausage Festival 2017

Car parking is free for all attending The Great Framlingham Sausage Festival 2017. It's located at Framlingham College, IP13 9EY,  accessed from the front entrance on College Road. Please follow signs to Festival Parking. If travelling from the East along the A1120 please use the  B1116 from Dennington into Framlingham, NOT the B1120 from Badingham. There will be minibuses to take you the short distance from the College into Framlingham to enjoy the day.
Disabled parking is on Castle Meadow and this can be accessed from the A1120 along the B1120 then into Castle Street which will be 2 way traffic during the festival. Limited and pre-arranged VIP parking is also on Castle Meadow.
